Can I see my UrgeLock report on the web?
Yes. Sign in with Apple or Google in the app (optional), then tap “Open my full report on the web” in Menu → Account. You get a private page with your urge curve, riskiest hours, top triggers and 14-day progress. Only the summary is stored, your individual logs stay on your phone, and you can delete the account and the report in the app.
What is the best way to quit smoking?
The best-evidenced approach combines a stop-smoking aid, such as combination nicotine replacement, with behavioural support and a plan for cravings. UrgeLock is the support-in-your-pocket part: it learns your triggers and guides you through each urge. Read what the evidence says.
What are nicotine withdrawal symptoms and how long do they last?
Cravings, irritability, poor sleep, trouble concentrating and low mood are common. The NHS says they are strongest in the first week, especially the first 3 days, and last 3 to 4 weeks on average. See the withdrawal timeline.
Is there an easy way to quit smoking or vaping?
Not an effortless one, but an easier one: learn your triggers, set a near quit date, protect the first three days and give every craving a five-minute plan. UrgeLock is built around that last step. See an easier way to quit smoking.
How do I quit vaping?
Choose a quit date within one to two weeks, learn your triggers, plan for cravings and get support. UrgeLock works for vapes as well as cigarettes. See how to quit vaping.
Does it work for vaping?
Yes. At setup you choose cigarettes or vape, and everything — questions, spending, targets and advice — is worded and calculated for what you use, including how long a pod lasts you.
Do I have to quit on day one?
No. The first day is for learning: you smoke or vape as usual and log it. Your plan starts from what you actually do, so the targets are realistic. When you feel ready, pick your own quit day in the app — 3 days to 3 weeks ahead works best.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Logging, the 24-hour pattern learning, your pattern report and one guided urge session are free. Premium unlocks guided help for every urge, Coach Call minutes (15 a month on Monthly, 60 on Yearly), the AI Coach (only if you allow it), urge reminders and personal gap targets. Everyone gets one free Coach Call.
Where is my data kept?
Your logs, triggers and progress stay on your phone — there is no account. We receive anonymous usage statistics, and if you turn on AI coaching, your pattern and chat messages are sent to write your coaching. Read the privacy policy.
Which currency will I pay in?
The App Store and Google Play charge in the currency of your store account — rupees in India, dollars in the US, euros in Europe and so on. The exact amount is shown on the store’s confirmation screen before you pay.
How do I cancel?
On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions. On Android: Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Your progress stays on your phone either way.
Is UrgeLock medical treatment?
No. It is a behaviour-change tool that uses well-studied techniques such as urge surfing, delay and replacement habits. It does not replace advice from a doctor or pharmacist, especially about nicotine replacement or medication.
When can I get it?
UrgeLock is launching on the App Store and Google Play. Join early access and we will email you the moment it is ready for your phone.
